It’s been a lovely first full week of the year, having the two openings meant seeing plenty of lovely friends and family and started me off in a great place. The Scottish Gallery exhibition is up and running and I’ve had a few sales to make me relax! Dazzle ended yesterday and seemed to go well also. I started properly my new project today which I have been thinking about over a good few months and making elements of it along the way. The deadline for this is Friday so if all goes to plan I will be posting about it about this time next week. I feel like Christmas continued over the last week, there were presents still to give and receive on Saturday. I also received my new chair, a house warming chair from my very talented friend Mairi B who cleverly saved it from being thrown away and then re-covered it for me.
I was also gifted with some beautiful flowers during my private view which of course were photographed to death as always and so I have to include them too! They were also from a talented friend Jenny Smith who I have swapped with and so I’m the proud owner of a huge gorgeous piece by her. Maybe I will photograph it and post it one day when I have light in my living room!
So I have lots of plans for this year and things to apply for over the weeks. Interesting exhibitions and a re-fresh of my blog, website and catalogue of jewellery to work on for the Spring (ish).
